"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. " 1 Peter 4:10
Our ministries exist to mature the body of Christ. The Word says this, “So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
At JMC, we grow in the power of the Holy Spirit to embrace the call God has placed on each of our lives. Through both our large and small group ministries, we seek to aid each believer in maturing and in discovering the spiritual gifts God has given for His service. Our goal is that everyone who wants to grow in Christ at JMC, will be given the love, support, instructions and tools to do just that. We endeavor to strengthen and arm the JMC body to meet the word if God that says, “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.” Ephesians 6:13
In doing this, we prepare our hearts and minds to be good stewards of all He has given us and to spread the gospel of Christ in truth and in love. Visit the ministry pages to learn more or contact us.
Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
